Booking Information for 2012 Season,
The 150 passenger "Spirit of Hudson" will be available along with our 18 passenger "Little Spirit" for the 2012 season from May through October. During the winter months, we our available to book your private charter and events for either vessel. Even though winter is here, it is a good time to reserve your charter now. As we progress through the winter, scheduling slots fill quickly so now is the time as to afford you flexibility in scheduling. We currently have group incentives for early booking as well and mid-week specials out of Hudson. Whether your looking for a private party, business gathering, wedding or reception, dockside event, etc, now is the time. We are offering incentives for those who book now during the winter months. Winter Wedding Bookings
2012 Wedding Season Packages,
2012 is going to be a big season for us with our wedding packages. Every year we book numerous weddings on our "Spirit of the Hudson" Paddlewheeler. We can arrange for your wedding to be on your own private boat with up to 100 guest. Whether you are local or want to come upstate for that wonderful wedding, The Spirit of Hudson is the only boat that can offer this service locally!

After a brief cruise along the riverfront aboard your own private vessel, you could arrive in style at a pristine riverfront park. For the up and coming 2012 season, we will be offering banner advertising on our vessels. During our cruise season, we have thousands of customers who request places to eat, drink and look for other things to do while in the area. Our full color 18"x18" banners are placed on the side of our vessel. What a way to promote your business by reaching out to those prospective customers. We not only do cruises from Hudson, but we sail out of Athens, Catskill, Rhinecliff, Poughkeepsie, etc. Your business will not only have local exposure, but you'll be reaching out to thousands more from outside the area supporting our Water Taxi which brings you more business. Winter Storage and Inspections,
The 150 passenger "Spirit of Hudson" has been now stored for the winter along with the "Little Spirit". Keeping our vessels up to date, performing our annual inventory and inspections, we do this every year to ensure that our vessels are up to date and safe for you, the customer. Old man winter is around the corner and time to button up things for the winter. Be safe for the Holiday season as we want to see you next year!

Cruise Information
Hudson City Water Front Park in downtown Hudson near Amtrak Station across RR tracks on Water St. We also operate private group charters on request out of other locations in the Hudson Valley. Call with your location and for group pricing!
Cruises on the Spirit of Hudson and Little Spirit are offered seven days a week, subject to availability and severe weather conditions. Call for run times.
The Cruises vary from 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on the event offered.
You may invite guests to join you for the experience. We can accommodate up to 150 guest on our Paddle wheeler and 18 passengers on our 30ft Tour Boat, the Little Spirit.
Cruises may be canceled by severe weather such as high winds, thunderstorms, etc. Call prior to confirm. We generally go under most conditions since we can be enclosed and still provide you with a great experience and maintaining safety. Note: During our cooler days and evenings, we have full heat and can be enclosed for events and performances.
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for the cruises.
Commencing from May-Oct, 2012, Hudson Cruises will be operating a Weekend Water Taxi service between Hudson and Athens under a pilot program. We will keep you posted on weekend schedules, maps and pricing as we draw closer.

Who We Are!
Hudson Cruises Inc, featured in USA Todays Travel Tips is based 2 hours north of NYC in Hudson NY, one of the premier Arts and Cultural centers outside of NYC. We operate from May-October and offer cruise and charter services and also dockside events 7 days a week. Just a short distance from NY, Boston, and Montreal. Visitors from near and far can experience and see what the Hudson Valley has to offer. We also feature charter services out of Poughkeepsie, Rhinecliff and Kingston, NY along with other Hudson Valley locations.
In addition to our Cruises and Events, you may visit gotohudson for a complete listing of many things to do and see around the city with our partner businesses. If you are staying at one of the local Inns or hotels, or on a day trip, include us in your planning and come enjoy your experience and see what Hudson Cruises is all about!
Travel by Train: If traveling by train, Amtrak offers a 15% off lowest fare discount from Penn Station-Hudson or Hudson-Penn roundtrip when purchased minimum 3 days advance online.
Travel by Car: You will find us very accessable from NYS Thruway, or Taconic State Parkway.
Travel by Plane: Columbia County Airport Ident-(1B1) is located 5 miles to the northeast of city with over a mile long asphalt surface able to handle small Cessnas to as large as a Global Express, and Gulfstream business jets with ample ramp space. 35 minute Helicopter service from Manhattan heliports is also available. Albany County Airport Ident-(ALB) is 45 minutes to the north for regular airline service.

We can accommodate up to 150 passengers on our ship! We can arrange for catering from a variety of our partner Caterers, Bands, Dj's and planners for your special event. We provide many types of cruises and events. Whether it is a dance party, live entertainment, Saturday morning Cafe Cruise, Sunday Jazz, or our sponsored cruises like from our friends at Clear Channel, we keep things fun and fresh. If you happen to be visiting upstate or from the local area, what a way to enjoy a fun event here, right on the Hudson River. Prices vary depending on the event. We also have mid week slots available for groups. Enjoy it with a loved one or your family and friends. Bus tours and large groups are welcome. The Sights and Sounds
Open and Customized scenic cruises bring so to much to view. While on the vessel, one can view the Hudson River Valley seeing the wall of Manitou and The Sleeping Giant of the Catskills, to the Bald Eagles, Osprey, and Herons that are frequent and exciting to see. All this on the beautiful Hudson River.
Lighthouse Tours
We offer in conjunction with the Hudson Athens Lighthouse Association, lighthouse tours. See a part of history that still remains right off shore here in Hudson.
Cruises will depart from the Hudson River Water Front Park in downtown Hudson.
We operate both vessels from May through October.
Departure Dates and Times: Our 2012 schedule soon to be posted!
Sunset Cruises depart from 6:00pm-8:00pm for two hours depending on the month of year.
Tuesday and Wednesday Evening Dockside Bar to be available, new for 2012.
Saturday and Sunday morning Dockside cafe will be available for 2012 from 8am-11am.
Duration of the cruises are approximately 1 hour to 3 hours. These cruises may be customized based on customers request, prior reservation, or type of cruise offered. Our fall foliage cruises run approximately 1hr.
Note: We have a cash bar available on our 150 passenger Spirit of Hudson. In accordance with NYS liquor authority and our licensing, there is absolutely no bringing outside food or beverages on board. The 30ft Little Spirit 18 passenger tour boat does have allowances for bringing food and drink on board that vessel.
We also provide charter boat services for individuals on a seasonal basis who require photography services for Residential and Commercial Real estate, Property Management, Private Fishing Charters and River Surveillance and Hydro Research. We offer Boater Safety Courses for individuals requiring the certified NYS boater safety course.
Hudson Cruises Inc operates in accordance with the USCG regulations. Furthermore, we participant in a mandated drug and alcohol testing program and trained in First Aid/CPR. Safety is our priority while providing you a wonderful cruise experience!
